Safety first – that’s not just a motto for WASEL’s crane operations, but also for its truck fleet. To further enhance their driving skills and ensure even greater safety on the road, twelve WASEL drivers took part in a professional truck safety training session in Selm this October.
Under the guidance of driving instructor Peter Buchborn, the participants first completed a theoretical session focusing on topics such as braking behavior, hazard perception, and reaction strategies. The group then took to the track with a total of four vehicles – including two 3-axle and one 2-axle MAN tractor units, as well as a truck equipped with a loading crane.

“Professionals never stop learning – especially when it comes to safety,” the WASEL team emphasized. “A big thank-you to all participants and to Peter Buchborn for an instructive and exciting day!”
Through such training initiatives, WASEL once again underlines the importance of responsibility and safety on the road – for the team, the customers, and all road users alike.
