Bergheim, November 2025 – Around 130 customers and industry partners accepted the invitation to the WASEL Tower Cranes Customer Event 2025, making the event a key meeting point for the tower crane sector. Together with experts from LIEBHERR, including the responsible product manager, the WASEL team presented current solutions and the latest technological developments in tower crane technology.

A special highlight already took place the day before the event: the official handover of the new LIEBHERR 43K fast-erecting crane to customer Hupperich. Equipped with innovative operator assistance systems, the crane became the centerpiece of the live demonstrations during the event and immediately attracted strong interest from the guests.

Smart Assistance Systems for Everyday Construction Site Operations

Under the motto “Safer. Smarter. Better.”, LIEBHERR presented its new assistance systems for fast-erecting cranes, which were first introduced at Bauma 2025 in Munich. These systems enable semi-automated, simultaneous crane movements and actively support crane operators in their daily work. The result is increased safety, noticeable operator relief and more efficient workflows on construction sites.

Technology that impressed the audience

In several live demonstration sessions, WASEL specialists explained the functionality of the assistance systems directly at the crane. Guests took the opportunity to experience the technology up close, ask detailed questions and exchange ideas with experts from WASEL and LIEBHERR. The response was consistently positive.

Additional innovations on display

In addition to the 43K, further product solutions were presented:

  • Fibre soLITE® hoist rope: With its low weight and increased lifting capacity, this technology offers clear advantages in daily operation and generated strong interest among visitors.
  • Liduro Power Port (LPO 100): The battery-based energy storage system demonstrated how construction sites with limited grid access can operate efficiently – flexible, cost-effective and locally emission-free.
  • BCS Cranecamera: A Dutch partner showcased modern camera systems that support safe tower crane operation and improve visibility on construction sites.

Professional exchange and relaxed networking

Alongside the technical highlights, personal exchange played a central role throughout the event. Numerous discussions between customers, manufacturer specialists and the WASEL team made the day a valuable platform for sharing practical experience, building new contacts and developing project ideas.

A popular catering service ensured excellent refreshments and provided the perfect break between program sessions.
